The Over-Engineered Koozie is designed to improve grip, stability, and insulation through controlled geometry and material selection. Internal features manage air displacement and condensation while maintaining a secure, repeatable fit around the container.
Design Features
- Bypass flutes and bleed port: Allow controlled air displacement during insertion and removal while providing a drainage path for condensation.
- Widened base: Improves static stability and reduces the likelihood of tipping.
- Internal wall structure: Tuned to balance insulation performance and hand comfort.
- External grip geometry: Reduces required grip force and improves handling security.
Material
This product is 3D-printed from 95A thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), selected to provide controlled flexibility that allows compression during insertion while maintaining dimensional stability in use.
