The Race Prediction Machine: Past Results

Below are the results of past predictions. Even though SX mains include 22 riders, the RPM predicts out to what it considers 26th place: 22nd plus the next 4 riders in the LCQ. For outdoors, the RPM predicts out to 40th place. The tables list the actual finish position of the rider, the predicted finish of the rider, and the difference between the actual and predicted finishes. In summary, a rider will finish within 3 positions of the RPM's prediction 50% of the time, within 5 positions 70% of the time, within 9 positions 90% of the time.
